This construction activity is being undertaken by Yencomad Construction PLC under the supervision of G & Y Engineering Consult P.L.C. The Addis Ababa City Roads Authority, acting on behalf of the Government of Ethiopia, allocated a sufficient budget for the development of this vital infrastructure project.
The contract was officially signed between the Addis Ababa City Roads Authority and Yencomad Construction PLC, with the works commencing on 15 November 2024. The total initial contract value, including VAT, is 1,939,594,873.19 ETB. As of the latest update in July 2023, approximately 86% of the project has been successfully completed, with significant progress on the asphalt surface roads, bicycle lanes, walkways, utility lines, and other associated infrastructure.
